Our stairwell pressure sensor runs on 24VDC, so can be powered off a VSD direct if need be. Sensor comes complete with tubing & probes. We also have optional metal probes (please ask if these are needed instead!)
It outputs a 4-20mA signal over a 2 wire current loop. 4-20mA current is lot more stable over long distances and less susceptible to electrical noise over long distances too (unlike 0-10VDC).
Being able to run on a single pair (2 wire device) of cables also saves you money on expensive fire rated cables! Most other sensors need 3 wires as a minimum!
Your VSD can be setup for a P+I (proportional + integral) loop for best performance. Or even connect multiple sensors & average them directly on the VSD (dependent on the VSD).
