Description

The DE85 is a differential pressure transmitter for industrial applications. It is suitable for measuring overpressure, under-pressure and differential pressure in neutral gaseous media.

The interior of the DE85 is protected by the robust housing according to the IP 65 standard. In addition, the differential pressure transmitter is overpressure safe and maintenance-free, making the DE85 suitable for your high industrial requirements. The optional LC display enables the user to quickly read the current measured value.

The DE85 has a large selection of measuring ranges, which can be selected between 0.25 mbar and 250 mbar (25 Pa to 25 kPa). A special feature of the DE85 is the simple and versatile setting using DIP switches. There are 4 additional configuration options for the selected basic measuring range. Furthermore, the characteristic curve (rising / falling), the measuring function (linear / square root), the damping (1s / 5s) and the unit (mbar / kPa) as well as an offset correction can be set.

The measurement is carried out using a piezoresistive sensor element, which is suitable for overpressure, under-pressure and differential pressure measurements and guarantees a measuring accuracy of up to 1.0%. This results in the typical areas of application such as clean room technology, monitoring of ventilation ducts, filter monitoring, volume flow measurement and the control of frequency converters.

With the large selection of process connections, the integration of the DE85 into your system is optimally prepared. In addition, fast and easy-to-install wall mounting or mounting rail mounting is possible. The DE85 is available as a 2-wire, 3-wire or Modbus RTU variant. In the 3-wire version, the analog output can be switched between 0…20 mA, 4…20 mA and 0…10 V.
